Vehicle Description This beautiful 1962 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in red over a matching red interior and powered by a fuel-injected 327ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission.
Equipment includes a white convertible top, a body-color removable hardtop, 15 wheels with factory covers, and a Wonderbar push-button AM radio.
The upholstery was correctly replaced along with the carpeting.
The balance of the interior appears to be largely original.
The car was acquired by the current owner three years ago.
After purchase, the new owner took care of a list of minor repairs totaling over $20,000, including a rebuild of the original T10 transmission, wiring updates, replacement of the front stabilizer bar, bushings, and links, replacement with correct rear leaf springs, and brake service.
Equipment includes steel 15 wheels with factory bright covers shod with Firestone Deluxe Champion whitewall tires that were installed in 2021, at which time the brakes were serviced, and rear leaf springs were replaced.
The original interior is in excellent condition, showing only minor wear consistent with a well maintained survivor.
