Job Description:
This position reports to a Lead Instructional Designer as a member of a cross-functional team and is responsible for analysis, design and development of training materials and courseware. This Instructional Systems Developer will: utilize expertise in analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training products and design blended learning programs involving various learning solutions. Courseware may be produced for various industries and will be delivered in a variety of delivery media including Web, Mobile, Virtual Classroom Training (VCT), or Instructor Led hands on. This individual is responsible for designing and developing training materials that: o are completed in accordance with project plans and schedules. o meet design intent o are instructionally-sound, o grammatically correct, o consistent with approved style guides, o meet customer expectations o communicate learning concepts effectively.
Required Skills:
o Ability to research content and glean information from technical, soft skill, and business documentation, engineering personnel, or other technical subject matter experts
o Experience writing learning and performance-based objectives
o Experience writing authentic, situation based case studies
o Experience writing and organizing content to support learning objectives
o Experience applying the ADDIE model and familiarity with agile development
o Experience applying knowledge of commonly-used concepts practices and procedures within Instructional Systems Design
o Experience organizing content using creative message design principles
o Accepts responsibility for courseware development, timelines, and budget activities, as assigned
o Ability to develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity
o Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects
o Effectively works as a member of a cross-functional team to ensure training materials target training and business requirements, and meet all quality control standards
o Ability to organize and lay out content visually, including detailed graphic design instructions
o Ability to perform design/development duties with minimal coaching and adheres to instructions and pre-established guidelines, as assigned
o Excellent writing skills; (use of language, grammar, spelling, organizing content)
o Excellent software skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Desired Skills:
o Minimum of 3 years as an Instructional Systems Designer or related field Required Education:
o A Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, English or a related field or equivalent experience is required.

Additional Job Requirements:
Based on project demands and customer review cycles, weekly hours could vary.
Candidate needs to have experience writing scenario based case studies modeled after Harvard Business Review approach.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
