Flexo/PLC Electro-Maintenance Tech

Packaging company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced maintenance technician with high grade electrical skills.
Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of complex electrical systems including PLC and PC controlled systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, mechanical systems and maintenance of high
speed production equipment in a fast paced production oriented industrial environment. PLC Troubleshooting or programming is a MUST.
Experience with flexographic printing presses, blown film extrusion machinery and/or bag making is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician Include:
& Ability to perform various plant maintenance functions to maintain the general operation of the facility
& Contribute technical problem solving and project management skills to protect and manage the factory's building, grounds and equipment.
& Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical, electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
& Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
& Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
& Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions.
& Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition does not deteriorate.
& Candidates need to be able perform tasks requiring repetitive motion, repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in a production environment.
& & Knowledge in process instrumentation such as heat controllers, tension control, servo drives and motors, AC/DC drives and other various types of industrial controls. A working knowledge of PC programs to access and configure these types of controls is required.
& Proven ability to work well with others, self-motivated, work with little or no supervision, multi-task and prioritize daily.
& Excellent organizational, interpersonal, decision making and communication skills
& Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, etc.
& Experience in fast paced industrial manufacturing environment.
& Perform electrical maintenance on any and all plant equipment.

& Must have experience in 3 Phase (Up to 480 Volts).
& Experience with European electrical hardware and voltages, Delta/Y motors are a plus.
& Inspect electrical systems, equipment, controls and components to identify hazards, defects,need for adjustment/repair/programming.
& Work well in a fast-pace environment
& Exhibit strong attention to detail
& Be a quality minded individual
& Fluent in English is required
