Description/Comment:
Raytheon IIS is looking for an individual to join the Cyber Security Engineering team for Cyber Security positions in Information Assurance

Typical
Responsibilities:
Provide security engineering support for technical implementation of security solutions comprised of COTS as well as custom products
Preparation of documentation to support Certification & Accreditation activities
Leading Security Test & Evaluation activities for program sell-off of security related requirements
Applies knowledge of current IA policies as a contributor to the architecture and design of secure solutions to customer needs and requirements
Prepare, write, and present trade studies, cost benefit analyses, reports and briefings as required

Required Skills:
Must have at least a Top Secret security clearance; TS/SCI is preferred
Must be a US Citizen in possession of a valid U.S. Passport
Experience with cyber security engineering projects and programs for U.S. Government and/or commercial clients

years demonstrated experience cyber security to include practices/methodologies, associated technologies, application design, and/or experience in an operational environment.
Strong understanding of security design and architecture
Must be able to work collaboratively across traditional engineering disciplines.

Desired Skills:
Experience with process development and deployment
Demonstrated experience in the design and development of cloud-based systems, architectures, and analytics development
Experience with six or more of the following:
- Security COTS integration (firewall, IDS, LDAP, etc)
- ICD 503
- Linux
- Windows
- vMWare
- Tripwire
- Splunk
- Perl
- Scripting
- C
- Java
- Operating System Hardening
- Vulnerability Assessment testing, assessment, findings, mitigation/justifications
- Public Key Infrastructure and Identity Management
- Excellent writing skills

Required Education:
BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or equivalent

Desired Certifications:
DODI 8570.1-M Compliance at IAT Level I; SANS GSEC, CISSP preferred

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
