Premium Auditor responsibilities include:
o Individually scheduling appointments with clients to obtain necessary information
o Submitting projects via web-portal and US-Reports' exclusive premium auditing software
o Contacting clients and communicating via phone, email, and face to face discussions
o Examining commercial businesses' payroll and tax records
o Evaluating operational practices
o Adhering to customer requirements and quality standards
o Maintaining confidentiality and acting with integrity
Qualifications for the ideal Independent Contractor:
o Act with professionalism and urgency
o Ability to observe and evaluate business operations and write recommendations
o Excellent skills in time management, verbal /written communications, and web-based applications
o A functional home office including a laptop (suggested but not required)
o Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
o Bookkeeping or accounting experience is helpful
o Premium Audit experience beneficial

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
