Typical Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manages incoming calls and customer service inquiries.
Manages specific accounts on a day-to-day basis.
Data input of customer purchase orders and sample requests.
Reports daily shipments to customers.
Acknowledgement of orders to customers.
Prints pick slips for sample products and delivers to Materials or Warehouse Department.
Responds to department orders and shipping inquiries in meetings.
Notifies manager of pricing updates and discrepancies on products.
Notifies manager of urgent customer needs.
Responds to and adjusts sales orders based on customer requests or supply chain feedback.
Identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction.
Conducts research with available resources to satisfy customer inquiries.
Responds quickly, professionally, and accurately to customer inquiries.
Builds sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
Provides accurate, valid and complete information by using the right method/tools.
Handles customer complaints; provides appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits.
Provides follow up to ensure feasible resolution is reached.
Keeps records of customer interactions.
Processes customer accounts and files documents.
Follows proper communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
Takes the extra mile to engage customers.
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
Provides feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
Escalating queries and concerns.
Assists in fostering an energetic and positive working environment.
Listens to the customers needs and presents possible options.
Adapts customer service protocols to meet our customers' needs.
Recommends improvements to company processes for efficiency.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Required Skills and
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, General Education Degree or equivalent.
Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation.
Ability to solve problems, alleviate conflicts and escalate tactfully.
Ability to multitask, manage time and prioritize.
Owners' mindset; takes ownership over everything within the scope of their responsibility.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Detail-oriented.
Organized work habits and the ability to multi-task is required.
Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative.
Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
Experience working with customer support.
Strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with customers.
Proactive approach, identifies and solves problems.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
