The foundation of a connected world, it's a network free of the limitations of the past, and flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of the changing world Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Engineer II maintains DISH Wireless network resilience and efficiency, evaluating issues to develop corrective actions.
They contribute to ongoing process improvements, leveraging KPI metrics to enhance customer experience by maximizing uptime and minimizing errors.
In this role, you will:
Provide technical troubleshooting expertise for escalated incidents.
Serve as subject matter expert for 5G Core, IMS, and Messaging solutions.
Handle outages and service degradations, performing initial RCA and coordinating with vendors and engineering teams.
Lead troubleshooting bridges with internal and vendor teams.
Engage and escalate critical issues with Core Tier III/Engineering team.
Develop key metrics for performance monitoring and service assurancce.
Collaborate with vendors for incident resolution and RCA.
#LI-LM1 Skills, Experience and RequirementsAs a successful Engineer II for our NOC Core Advanced Operations team, you will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or Telecommunications Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Wireless industry, ideally within carrier or vendor environments.
Proficiency in Core IMS is essential.
Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting network packet captures.
Experience with Nokia and Mavenir Core is advantageous.
Ability to evaluate large volumes of technical data and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
Salary RangesCompensation:
$85,000.
00/Year - $125,000.

The base pay range shown is a guideline.
Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
