Assist and work closely with the DC Manager and other team members both at, DC and plant locations with all relative inventory issues and controls as set forth by the established procedures and organizational methods.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Activities - Prepare and understand accurate and timely data via computer concerning inventory levels.
Conduct cycle counts to meet auditing requirements.
Possess the ability to troubleshoot to solve practical and analytical everyday problems within the realm of the position.
Operations Support - Fill in for Order Release Clerk and Dock Coordinator as required.
Assist Supervisor with management of Customer Returns/Repack and Reclaim functions/area.
Compliance - Review internal controls and ensure compliance is in order.
Assist the manager in inventory control and overall process improvement projects.
Other Responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
two to three years in inventory control experience in distribution or production environment.
Specialty training beyond HS preferred.
Training and experience DC Wizard, SAP, Oracle Microsoft Office, WMS (or similar systems) required Supervisor experienced desired.
