Position
Summary:
Do you live on TikTok or Instagram - and speak social media? Do you love engaging with brands on social? Is it the trends for you? Does making our members day make your day? Are you passionate about social media perfection? Are you a problem-solver and a fixer? Then you're in the right spotAs a Community Manager, you'll serve as an advocate for our members.
This role will play a key part in the continued growth of Sam's Club social media.
This role is responsible for supporting the social media strategy and helping our members get something special when they talk to Sam's Club.
This role requires someone who is a digital native and understands social customer care and community management.
You would be a great fit if you are passionate about the member experience, developing compelling copy, and creating a community where Members feel connected to the brand.
We are looking for someone who can communicate with Members and prospects in a way that differentiates Sam's Club from other brands.
You will be responsible for creating copy that will educate, inspire, and entertain our audience on social.
Along the way, you'll be guided by our deep-rooted culture with the support and tools you need to do your best work.
We're looking for a motivated person wanting to learn best in class social practices by being part of the integrated social media team within the Sam's Club Performance Marketing department.
You will be responsible for daily community management, participation in the content creation process, asset management, and participation in the reporting of that content.
This member of the team will be expected to be up to date on the latest social media platforms, have a passion for social media and how it can contribute to a retail business, and a desire to learn from the best in the business!Key
Responsibilities:
Create proactive and reactive responses across social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube to build our digital community and connect with Members Develop assets on a consistent basis to maintain a database of responses for frequently asked questions, campaigns, and trending topics Collaborate with social team and cross-functional partners for real-time crisis management support Monitor relevant conversations and engage with Members and prospects to enhance brand reputation and drive advocacy Identify trends, opportunities, and ideas to support development of content for social channels Interact with earned and owned influencers and creators to further drive brand awareness and reach new audiences Identify UGC and community stories for content Skills & Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of established and upcoming social media channels and platforms with an understanding of how each platform can be leveraged to deliver on the Expect Something Special Mindset Strong story-teller with the ability to write long and short-form copy that conveys a clear message across a variety of channels and platforms Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving In-tune with what's trending and pop culture Passionate about the member experience and demonstrated ability to place the member at the heart of everything Preferred
Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required 1-3 years of relevant experience in social media marketing and/or equivalent copywriting experience Experience in community management function preferred Experience working with community management tools such as Sprinklr, Lithium, Sprout Social, etc.
Details:
This role will require evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
This role will maintain a 40-hour work week with the ability to support the team during specific weekend events.
When weekend or evening work is required, it will be communicated advance and the total work week will not exceed 40 hours.
This is a remote position, but applicants are required to live in Texas or Arkansas.
Relocation is not provided for this position.
