Remote Java Developer 6476
TCI has an immediate need for a Remote Java Developer.
This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity.
This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire.

SUMMARYThe Remote Java Developer provides support with research, design, implementations and managing software programs as well as testing and evaluating new programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Writing and implementing efficient code.
Develop quality assurance procedures and deploy software tools, processes and metrics.
Works closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.
Acts as team leader on projects.
Participates in development of software user manuals.
Instructs, assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers on development team.
Consults with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
REQUIREMENTS Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required.
If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then four additional years of related experience is required.
Required technologies/experience include:
Java.
Spring Framework as a comprehensive programming and configuration model.
SQL.
HTML/JavaScript/CSS.
Basic Linux usage (navigating, reading files, sudo commands).
Experience/understanding with PuTTY/WinSCP, WebSphere, Subversion, Cloud Platform Development and event streaming platforms used to collect, process, store, and integrate data at scale (such as Kafka).
Must be a U.

Citizen and eligible for a Public Trust Security clearance.
