Additional duties include assisting with the management, coordination, and execution of a variety of special events in coordination with other departments.
Also responsible for communicating policies and procedures as related to facility rental, service contract agreement, approved caters services, TABC licenses, invoices/billings, and performing clerical duties in support to customer relations and touring of facility on regular basis.
The weekly work schedule includes days, nights, and weekends, and may include changes to the regular schedule based on the needs of operations with some community outreach services.

Flexible availability required Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide customer service on bookings and reservation of events, using venue systems.
Follow policies and procedures on booking process, from service contract agreement to collecting payments.
Assist customers in planning and executing events either in person, on the phone, or through email communications and serve as point of contact for clients.
Update staff accordingly.
Monitor and respond daily to voicemails, emails to customers' inquiries about rental of facility.
Regularly give customer tours of facility and collect customer information.
Create and edit customer account records and information in venue systems.
Follow-up with phone calls, emails to facilitate the event, sales process and meet deadlines.
Collect fees and perform simple accounting duties.
Perform basic audio visuals on light boards and understand different setup floorplans.
Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.
E.
D.
) 1-3 years related experiences in a sales, hospitality or customer service environment using computer technologies Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Education/
Experience:
Up to 1-year advanced study or training beyond the high school level 1-3 years in sales, customer service or office work-related experience Reservation and layout software experiences preferred but not required, will train Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Basic skills in PC and systems application Good customer service and telephone etiquette skills Good oral and written communications skills Ability to learn booking and reservation systems Ability to multi-task, priority tasks, and meeting deadlines Ability to adapt to various working environments Understand management hierarchy and ability to work well with others - be a team player, reliable individual Ability to provide great customer service to diverse populations in a professional manner Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment Ability to work with or without close supervision Ability to organize events, records keeping according to categorically and dates Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.

Occasional outdoor work or planning as need based on customers' requests and city's wide events with some community outreach services.
Primary environment will be in a climate controlled, indoor atmosphere with exposure to noise and occasional on feet conditions.
Physical tasks include lifting, squatting, bending, stooping, walking, and carrying supplies, as needed, to accomplish the tasks of the activity daily.
Must be able to l lift/ carry up to 50 pounds infrequency such as tables, chairs, etc.
Must also be able to utilize keyboard and peripherals, handheld mobile devices, and multi-function office phones.
