Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments - Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-payments - Maintain patient records and update medical charts - Assist with medical billing and coding tasks - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed - Manage medical office supplies and inventory Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical administrative support role or medical office setting preferred - Familiarity with medical records management systems such as eClinicalWorks or Eaglesoft - Proficient in using office equipment, including computers, printers, and phone systems - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Experience with medical scheduling software is a plus Note:
