Manufacturing support role with a focus on optimizing and maintaining production processes and reducing product scrap.
Position
Responsibilities:
Perform first piece start-up process verification activities.
Verify end-of-arm tooling for robots, initiate robot program, or adjust cam settings as needed.
Set up assembly and decorating equipment following the Master Process Control Sheet.
Ensure the correct Process Monitoring Sheet is at the press during mold changes, material changes, or insert changes.
Remove old process control sheets and file them during mold or insert changes.
Place a filled Process Monitoring Sheet or sheets related to changes in the designated area.
Perform process verification checks and log results as defined by the product PMS.
Respond to operator calls regarding product/process questions or concerns.
Complete assigned areas of the First Piece Approval document(s).
Identify machine and tool repairs needed and initiate appropriate work orders.
Participate in internal problem-solving/improvement activities as needed.
Participate in all safety activities and procedures.
Assist other team members as needed, including performing mold changer and material handler duties as required by leadership.
Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Mathematical Skills Requirements:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to calculate percentages and proportions.
Reasoning Ability Requirements:
Ability to actively participate in problem-solving activities.
Ability to apply logic to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Physical Requirements:
Moderate to heavy physical movement and exertion.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Training Requirements:
