Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, your primary duties will include:
1.
Performing routine inspection checks on equipment and machinery.
2.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues promptly and efficiently.
3.
Performing preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure continuous productivity.
4.
Utilizing PLCs for automation and control, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
5.
Repairing or replacing defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassembling equipment.
6.
Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
7.
Participating in safety meetings and adhering to established safety procedures.
8.
Collaborating with the engineering team to solve complex problems and improve efficiency.
9.
Documenting all maintenance and repair work for future reference and reporting to management.
10.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the engineering industry to ensure that the company's machinery and equipment are in line with industry standards.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Technician position should possess the following:
1.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within the manufacturing industry.
2.
Proven experience with troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and machine maintenance.
3.
A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
4.
Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
5.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
6.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team.
7.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
