Job DescriptionAccounts Payable Specialist Our client in Garland, TX is adding an Accounts Payable Specialist to the team on a direct hire opportunity.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records.
Receive, review, gain approvals, and process invoices into the accounting systemReview reports and verify all records for processing and payment accuracyCreate weekly check runs and process vendor payments, maintaining the related files/contracts and records as neededAssist with month-end processes and reporting and weekly flash reportsManage credit card charges, review coding, retain receipts, and reconcile monthly statements, posting in the accounting softwareManage, reconcile, and file 1099 forms, yearly reporting, and related correspondenceReconcile accounts payable, credit card payables, accruals, prepaid schedules, and any other accounts as assignedPerform data entry and other administrative duties as needed in support of the Accounting departmentMay assist with ADP payroll processing and payroll accounting entries/reconciliationAccounts Payable Specialist Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred 2 years of experience processing Accounts Payable and reconciliations Previous experience with 3rd party banking softwareQuickBooks experience - highly preferred Computer proficiency in MS Office productsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFeatures and
