Applicants must be Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certified, licensed to practice, and have experience working with adult and/or child and adolescent populations.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric care, including evaluations, follow-ups, and urgent and emergent consultations to individuals with mental health needsExperience in delivering high-quality, client-centered care Able to document and navigate EHR independentlyAbility to maintain strict client confidentialityParticipate in the creation of an individualized treatment plan after discussing the case with the mental health care team, collecting and reviewing psychosocial data, medical history, nursing assessment, and other pertinent informationEvaluate patients for the need for a higher level of care, including hospitalizationProvide patient education, specifically around issues related to medications and treatment adherence, and aftercare serviceWork closely with Supervising physician to ensure improved patient outcomes and high-quality care #LI-HYBRIDAt Geode Health, we offer:
